It was a good day.
Aida . . .
rolled over from her side to her stomach for the first time.
played in the exersaucer for the first time without freaking out.
ate pat the bunny's ears.
spent quality time using her hands and mouth to crunch the elephant ear on her play mat. oh, and rattle her heart rattle.
and, biggest achievement of all, started learning how to put herself to sleep instead of waiting for me to rock her to sleep. Yay. I was worried this process called "sleep training" was going to be traumatic, but she did pretty well. Like she's been trying to tell me forever to just leave her alone and let her get some sleep already...
She's ready to do this thang! Two more days to go and, fingers crossed, she'll be a sleeping pro.
Next up: rid our lives of the swaddle.
